New DNA testing provides knowledge about genetic predispositions for how our bodies respond to diet and exercise
Genes affect how we respond to different diets and exercise. To help individuals understand how their body is affected by exercise and diet, the Healthtech company Dynamic Code is launching a completely new DNA test. The test analyses sixteen different genetic markers in order to help improve the person's quality of life.
A healthy diet and being physically active are important features of a healthy lifestyle. Proper diet and exercise can help us achieve optimal body functioning, reach and maintain a healthy weight, reduce the risk of disease and improve our health in general.
Dynamic Code is launching a completely new DNA test where you can receive valuable information about your genetic makeup and how to best adapt your diet, exercise and lifestyle.
"Different gene variations contribute to individual differences in how we react to different types of exercise and the nutrients in our food. This test analyses some of the main genes that we already know can influence how our body reacts to diet and exercise," says Anne Kihlgren, founder of Dynamic Code.
DNA test of sixteen different genes
The test is based on the latest research and provides a personal set of data. This data includes the person's genetic makeup, which can interact with their diet and exercise. The person then receives concrete advice on how to adapt their diet, exercise and lifestyle based on the sixteen different genes.
Dynamic Code's new DNA test BODY consists of two parts - NUTRITION and TRAINING
A large number of genes are linked to our diet and affect our metabolism. The 'nutrition' part analyses some of the main genes that we already know are able to influence the interaction between our diet and our body. The person will receive concrete advice on how to adapt their diet and lifestyle based on eleven different genes. The test investigates fats, carbohydrates, antioxidants, caffeine, stress and sleep.
'Exercise' focuses on exercise and genes. Genetic variations mean that we perform differently in different exercise situations and that the effect of the same exercise routine can vary between different individuals. This test analyses some of the main genes that are known to influence the interaction between exercise and the body. The person then receives concrete advice on how to adapt their exercise routine and lifestyle based on ten different genes. The test investigates body weight, strength and endurance, antioxidant protection, caffeine and recovery
The person receives answers to questions such as:
- Do you have explosive or endurance muscles?
- What type of exercise does your body respond best to?
- How fast do you recover after exercise?
- How is your body affected by caffeine?
Personal advice can be given in connection with the test results
Dynamic Code's test BODY is reviewed by exercise expert Sabina Dufberg who has studied and practised personal training, nutrition and mindfulness for many years. Sabina Dufberg has taught other trainers, and coached a wide variety of individuals, from elite athletes to patients undergoing rehabilitation, and was also a coach on the TV programme Biggest Loser. She is the author of several books and is a very popular public speaker. Those who wish to, can (for an extra cost) receive personal advice and coaching from Sabina according to their results from BODY's DNA test.
"Reviewing your health and genetic preconditions is an investment for life. With this knowledge about yourself, you gain the opportunity to change and improve both your physical and mental state. With the help of this new test, I can coach each individual and help them achieve a better quality of life," says Sabina Dufberg.
BODY can be purchased from Dynamic Code's online store for 1,695 SEK. You can also buy the NUTRITION and TRAINING tests separately for 995 SEK each.
