Press release -
Dynamic Code is in a strong international expansion phase and brings in Louise Nylén as its new CEO
Healthtech company Dynamic Code is now stepping up its efforts to establish cooperation primarily with digital healthcare providers and distributors such as pharmacy chains in a number of countries. A natural next phase in the company’s development requires strengthening management resources with the right skills and experience. Louise Nylén, former head of marketing at Trustly, will be the new CEO. She will succeed founder Anne Kihlgren who will continue in the company with a focus on strategic development.
”In a position with a growing understanding of the benefit of telemedicine and e-health, Dynamic Code now has a great opportunity to expand in both existing and international markets. To hire a new CEO is an important next step in this venture,” says Anne Kihlgren, CEO and founder of Dynamic Code.
With its development of new complete solutions for diagnoses based on DNA-technology, Dynamic Code has strengthened the consumers ability to affect and control their own care. To be able to remotely, quickly and safely make a diagnosis and to immediately contact doctors online changes things fundamentally, especially in primary care.
Approved technology in the EU paves the way for international collaborations
Dynamic Codes offerings are now raising increasing interest from international actors. Since the company’s tests have received regulatory approval throughout the EU, it is now stepping up its efforts to establish cooperation primarily with digital healthcare providers and distributors such as pharmacy chains in a number of countries. A natural next phase in the company’s development requires strengthening management resources with the right skills and experience.
Louise Nylén, with 20 years of experience in international growth companies, the new CEO
The new CEO for Dynamic Code will be Louise Nylén. Louise, who comes from a role as head of marketing at fintech company Trustly, was previously Vice President and head of marketing at LeoVegas. Louise assumes her new position on November 1st this year.
”Healthcare is currently undergoing a paradigm shift, greatly driven by the digital healthcare providers, where accessibility is improved and the patient's ability to influence their own care situation increases. Dynamic Codes products and platform arrived exactly on time by putting the patient and their needs in focus. I’m confident that Dynamic Code can play a crucial role in the transformation of healthcare moving forward, both within and outside Sweden. I look forward, with excitement and humility, to be a part of Dynamic Code’s continued journey”, says Louise Nylén
”Louise has 20 years of experience in international growth companies and her background on the international stage and experience from completely different industries will complete the team at Dynamic Code and lift us to the next level,” Anne Kihlgren is convinced.
Anne will lead her area of expertise
Anne will continue in the company with what she’s most passionate about – full focus on strategic development of the concept of health tests.
“I really look forward to working closely with Louise, get the company to keep growing and focusing on my area of expertise”, says Anne Kihlgren.
About Dynamic Codes offer and journey
Dynamic Code translates the latest DNA-research to products that streamlines the care chain and takes health, diagnosis and treatment closer to the consumer. Examples of this are self-tests with laboratory analysis for a variety of diseases like infections, STDs, intolerances as well as tests for diet and lifestyle.
Dynamic Code’s journey started back in the 90s, when Anne Kihlgren worked at SKL (Statens Kriminaltekniska Labaratorium), currently NFC (Nationellt Forensisk Centrum), with forensic DNA-analysis in criminal investigations. She saw the possibilities with DNA-technology and its potential to help people get answers for so much more, if it was widely available. She started Dynamic Code, which has since worked with developing specially adapted DNA-tests to revolutionise healthcare and give people more control over their own health.
Over the years, the company has grown and also developed a platform and logistics flow that has laid the foundation for diagnoses to be made remotely. But it hasn’t always been easy.
"Ingrained habits and perceptions of how a diagnosis should be made has often stood in the way of our concept. Much of today’s guidelines were developed when the technical conditions, to easily be able to get tested, didn’t exist and change doesn’t always happen quickly”, concludes Anne Kihlgren.
